How is pixilation made? Pixilation is a stop motion technique where live actors are used as a frame-by-frame subject in an animated film, by repeatedly posing while one or more frame is taken with changing pose slightly before the next of the frames. The actor becomes some kind of puppet.

today we looked at some possible ideas of cut out animation and prepared for filming our 10 second video next week!

This music video is a great example of cut out animation, cut out animation is a technique using flat characters and props, and backgrounds cut from materials such as card and paper, stiff fabric or even photographs.

This is a example of time lapse of different sun shades throughout the day, and the night sky.... it is a good example of animation. time lapse is a cinematography technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured. the frame rate is much lower than that which is used to play the sequence back. when played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster.
